My mom is a huge fan of the Jason movies, (She saw the olds ones new) and I have never seen her so happy about a movie. This is actually a really really good remake/reboot. It covers the first 3 movies pretty flawlessly. I laughed a lot, and I had to read my popcorn bucket during one death scene. Its gory, its nasty, and it scared the hell out of the people around me. (They kept gasping and jumping.) I laughed through the entire movie, because I don't have the appropriate emotion for horror movies

Go see it, its pretty awesome.
