Cooking everything in one skillet wouldn't take too much time, plus cooking the egg in bacon grease adds a dimension of flavor. What really takes time is getting all the toppings out and putting them back, along with the knife to spread the mayo.

A simple egg sandwich to me is just egg and plain toast.

Question: what does weet-bix (or weetabix) taste like. It looks like compacted, old newspaper.

Tastes like wheat I guess. It's not a nice breakfast. It's healthy and easy to "pour" the same amount every morning because it's in blocks.

weetbix turns into this weird slimy sponge when it's soggy, it's gross heck, vita brits i can stomach, it fragments and turns into mush but it still feels like food to me

So I made the usual tomato bolognese sauce to put on my noodles, except today I decided to add crushed almonds. They give the sauce an additional crunchy texture, and their flavour adds a note that suits the inherent taste of the noodles very well, imo.

Yesterday I dug out my rice cooker than I've only used once before to cook up a simple batch of white rice. I was looking around online though and there are a lot of nifty one-pot meals that you can whip up real easily in a rice cooker. I'm gonna start trying some of 'em out, and I'll be chronicling my findings here.

i hate cleaning non-stick since everything sticks to it anyway BUT you have to be gentle
